Our Weekend - Mommy's Night Out

I had my annual get together with some girlfriends from high school over the weekend. Every year for the past 10+ years, we've gotten together for a night or two. This year was a bit different; a couple girls planned on heading down to Omaha to visit, Krista another girlfriend. A few of us who couldn't get away for a whole weekend decided to meet in St Cloud for the day/night. Well, one of the girls heading to Omaha got sick and the trip down south fell through. So instead of it being 4 of us getting together, it ended up being 5 of us staying the night and 2 coming for the day. And Krista from Omaha made the 7 hour trip north instead!

We had a BLAST! Our first ever girls weekend was held in St Cloud. And we actually stayed in the same hotel! We started the day with lunch at the Olive Garden and time at the mall. We got checked in at the hotel around 4 and by 6 or so, then headed out on the town. Mc's Dugout was our first stop and the rest was history. It was a great time being together with the girls again. We've decided that this summer we would like to get our families together for a day and night in Monte. We thought it would be awesome to have a picture of all our kids together. Amy figured out with the 6 of us who hung out at the hotel that night, we had 14 kids between us all! Wow, how times changes lives! :)
While I was gone for my girl time, Kendall and Jake headed to Spicer to help celebrate Noah's 15th birthday. By the sounds of it, they all had a great time. Last night, Jacob was sleeping by 7:30 and that hasn't happen for a really long time. So he must have had a fun time. Kendall sent me a couple cute pictures of Jacob having fun.
