Our Weekend - Work Christmas Party

We had my work Christmas party over the weekend. With a more younger and outgoing crowd, we decided on having the party at McPete's, the local bowling alley/bar. And I'm glad we did. It was so much fun!

There were many laughs shared throughout the night. From our white elephant gift exchange to "moon light" bowling after a few cocktails. The night just flew by! It was sad to see it end.

While Kendall and I had a night out, Jake was home with Adrien and Brock. Soon after leaving, we got a text from Adrien saying that Jake wasn't eating, he didn't want to take a bath and just wasn't being himself. So Kendall called home and spoke to him. Their little pep talk seemed to make things all better :) Jake was back to himself and Brock got another arm workout with flying Jacob around the house with his Buzz wings.

It was great having a night out with Kendall. Wish we could do that more often. Sad we couldn't remember the last time we spent a whole evening in a bar setting. I guess the time as come that we take advantage of our neighbor kids to babysit once in awhile.
