Our Weekend - 4th of July * WestRich Camping

This past week was a little choppy between work and fun with the 4th falling in the middle of the week.

Tuesday after work, the 3 of us packed up with camper in tow and headed out to Little Falls. Adrien invited us to join her and Brock at Brock's parents house. They have a big 4th of July party every year. It's wonderful ... they live right on the Mississippi River. Ashley and her family joined us too. We all had a great time. Between lots of food, cruising the Miss, and watching their over an hour firework show, I'd have to say we had a great 4th.

Thursday ... back to work and daycare :(

Friday after my chrio appointment in the morning, we headed to Spicer, "where it's nicer" for the next few days. Kendall made a trip on Thursday to set up the camper and do some golfing. It was great having the camper all set up and ready to use when we got there. My best friend, DeLisa and her family joined us for the weekend. Our campsites were right next to each other. Lots of fun in the sun, visiting with family/friends who stopped by and good food.

Saturday evening we got ready and drove to Willmar. Kendall's sister Karole and her husband Denny were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The party was held at the American Legion. What a wonderful turn out and great to catch up with our extended family who we sadly see only once a year.

Sunday morning we packed up and headed out. We decided to leave our camper at Ashley/Trevor's since we would be camping at their place this coming weekend. Once we got home, we unpacked, caught up with dirty laundry, enjoyed the comforts of home!
