We had a great weekend. Saturday morning the three of us headed to the outlet mall in Albertville. Kendall thought it would be fun for Jake to pick out his own Crocs instead of me buying them on-line. What a fun store. Jake picked out a blue and green pair then the sales associate mentioned the jibbitz were on sale. Of course, he eyed out the super hero's right away. Now if the weather would cooperate so he could show off his new shoes.
After leaving the Croc store, my sister happened to be shopping too so we met up with her for a few minutes at a kitchen store. Found some really nice pots/pans that would be a great gift for my mom. Her set has seen the best of days.
Once we got our shopping done, my sister had a few more places to stop at in St. Cloud so she stopped by in the afternoon and we went together while the boys and Kendall stayed back at our house. I definitely helped the economy grow a tad bit with my mall purchases! I bought a new pair of walking shoes, a new shirt, a bottle of perfume, bright blue nail polish and finished it off with a new spring jacket with a 50% off sales ticket. It was a fun time spent with my sister.
Yesterday we spent the day at Ashley/Trevor's in Spicer. I made a pan of Tator Tot hotdish and a Lazy Lasagna hotdish. Both were a big hit. We even finished the afternoon off with a trip to DQ for ice cream treats. It was a fun time hanging out with all the kids again. Little Owen is growing like a weed in his short 4 days since birth. He's gained 6 to 7 ounces so far. Ashley mentioned Owen weights the same as Keean did at 2 months. Big brother Keean is a whoot. He got into some trouble with Daddy while outside. Ashley asked Keean if he had fun outside and Keean looked at us and spanked his butt with his own hand and said, "Daddy!" Guess Daddy gave him the count of 3 and Keean didn't listen. I had to look away it was so darn cute.
Well I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mother Nature must be confused a bit. The weather guy is talking snow this week. Yuck!
