Our Weekend - Change of plans

Our plans were to go camping at the Oaks with our good friends, Heidi and Tom, but Tom's brother passed away unexpectedly this past week. So sorry for your loss Tom. There are many weekends and lots time for camping! Looking forward to spending some camping time with the both of you.

With our change of plans, we stayed close to home. We got a few things ready for next weekends Labor Day party at our house. Nice to check a few things off the list so we're not scrabbling to get things done last minute. This week can't go fast enough. So excited to have family and friends over. Hope everyone comes with an opened mind. HINT .... "Minute to Win it!"

With some downtime, I was able to finish Jake's 4 year scrapbook. Bitter sweet, but so excited to start a new chapter ... Jake turning 5!

My oldest nephew, Michael celebrated his 13th birthday over the weekend. Can't believe he's a teenager. Time goes by so fast. Happy Birthday Michael, we love you and wish nothing but the best for you.
