Yesterday was the day for going to see the doctor! In the morning we had Jacob's 6 month dental check up. He did awesome once again. The dentist said, "Jake, you have the best looking teeth he's seen so far today!" I contribute that to Jake not being a big candy eater. He loves crackers, cheese, fruit, and an occasional Oreo cookie. I guess we don't keep the high sugar fruit snacks in the house so he doesn't have that option to have it. My thoughts are ..... he has a whole lifetime to eat that stuff.
When the dentist was examing Jake's mouth. He made another comment on Jake's tongue tie and how tight it is. He suggested we go see an oral surgeon. So I set up to meet with one in St. Cloud next Friday. Hopefully after our consult, Jake will have surgery to have the "lingual frenulum" clipped before summer hits. Without it being clipped, it can cause speech problems down the road and also problems with the lower front teeth.

After seeing the dentist, we had an afternoon appointment for Jake's 6 week check on his eyes. We got a great report here too! His right eye is IMPROVING! Yay .... Dr. Gregory said to keep doing what we're doing and she would see him again in Sept/Oct for another exam.
